so I just got the best surprise ever

yesterday my mom told my brother and me that she had a surprise for us. we asked her if it was food but then she said it wasn’t so we got kinda excited. but she also told us we’d have to wait until after my soccer game today. so when I got home from the game my mom asks us if we’re ready for the surprise. we were all CHYEAH but then she was all oh you gotta wait til after dinner. naturally we kept bugging her all before and through dinner. right before dinner, my dad had left to get some stuff for a potluck at work tomorrow. so when we were getting our dinner food we noticed that my parents bought an unnatural amount of sisig but my mom said that it was for my dad’s potluck tomorrow. and then we noticed that there was an unnatural amount of rice in the rice cooker but my mom said that it was for my dad’s potluck tomorrow. so then during dinner we hear the garage door opening and we’re just like oh dad’s home. he walks into the kitchen and he’s all helloo and we’re like hi. and then my lolo and lola from the Philippines walk in through the door and my bro and I are just like fioauwesynbhcrgCHYEAHHH so yeah turns out my dad doesn’t have a potluck tomorrow and my parents FOOLED US. my aunt and uncle and little cousin and baby cousin also came over which was tight but we had no idea so we’re just chilling in our pajamas like whut but still, very pleasant.

I’m happy we get to spend Christmas with them. it’s just not the same without them =)
